Episcopal Church of the Ascension

Join Dennis Ryan from the Grizzly Bear Outreach Project
for a family oriented presentation. He will discuss the history, biology, behavior and issues of black bears and the small population of grizzly bears that live in Washington. The event is 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18 at the Discovery Park visitors center. $5 donation requested. There is also the Habitat Restoration Work Party, where you can plant native plants in the spring. That is 1-4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20. Rotary is looking for another homeowner
in Magnolia to assist in April. The 20th Annual Spring Rebuilding Day will be Saturday, April 24. The Rebuilding Together organization will assist approximately 30 homeowners and nonprofit facilities in need with the help of 1,000 volunteers. Homeowners must be low-income and physically and/or financially unable to complete the repairs independently. Any homeowners or neighbors who are interested in the program can call 206-682-1231.
