Japanese-style pottery at Coe Elementary
On Jan. 11 and 12 students of Coe Elementary School will attempt to fire in the traditional Japanese Raku style. More than 400 student pieces of pottery will be fired in the school playground. Raku requires open flame fires where the pottery is glazed (The kids have made the bowls already and they are being pre-baked to withstand the actual open flame glazing fires.
Queen Anne Lacrosse Club
The Queen Anne Lacrosse Club has open roster spots for both third and fourth-grade team and fifth- and sixth-grade team.
