After months of speculation, in which Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and PCC Natural Markets were mentioned as the prime contenders, Alison Mochizuki, Director of Public Relations for Trader Joe’s, has confirmed Trader Joe’s will relocate to the vacated Metropolitan Market site on upper Queen Anne.

Seattle Department of Neighborhoods is now accepting applications for the fall round of the Neighborhood Matching Fund’s Small and Simple Projects Fund. The deadline for receipt of applications is 5 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012.
