A Queen Anne woman has found a bicycle and wants to return it to its rightful owner.

Phoning in a RobberyAt 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 24 a police officer responded to reports of a woman screaming outside of an apartment building in the 400 block of West Roy Street. Upon arrival the officer met with a resident of the building who said he had heard the noise. When he went outside he found an iPhone on the ground, but didn't see any people.

The people opposing the grocery store at 5 Corners are wrong! (News 3/10)My family has owned and operated Lyons Grocery on Dexter Avenue for 39 years. There is much more traffic on Dexter and greater density than 5 Corners. It is primarily a condo and apartment neighborhood and a corridor in and out of downtown.

Open enrollment for the 2010-11 school year continues through March 31

Seattle Public Schools open enrollment for the 2010-11 school year continues through Wednesday, March 31. During open enrollment, families may register their child to enter SPS in fall 2010 and/or apply for a school other than their assigned school.

Falcons finish 2nd; gymnasts hope to stick it at nationals

With a second-place finish in the last meet of the season, the Seattle Pacific University (SPU) gymnastics team treads into the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championships next Saturday with replenished confidence.The Falcons took second with a season-best total of 190.575 points in the March 19 home meet. The University of Washington Huskies won the meet with 195.300 points.
