Bar PickpocketA pickpocket stole a man's wallet at a nightclub on the 100 block of Denny Way sometime between the hours of 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. the evening of Aug. 22. The victim had given his credit card to the bartender to cover his drink tab, and when he went to get it back discovered his wallet and cell phone were missing. He later discovered the pickpocket had made fraudulent charges to his bankcard and credit card before he could cancel them. His cell phone had GPS so the man was able to see the pickpocket's location, but the phone was turned off before police could locate the suspect.
Despite downward economic trends in the last year, leading to layoffs and budget cuts industry wide, private school enrollment in Queen Anne and Magnolia is steady due to a triage of factors.

Paint dumperSomebody dumped paint all over a man's car that was parked on the 3000 block of 36th Avenue West between the hours of 2 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Sept. 4. There was a 5- to 6-inch wide stripe of latex paint covering the windshield, hood and grill of the vehicle. The man was able to get most of the paint off by cleaning it.
Police have arrested the suspects responsible for the most recent string of robberies that have taken place in Magnolia and a slew of other Seattle neighborhoods.
No swine flu cases have been reported in the Seattle Public School District, said district spokesman David Tucker.
Here is what is amazing: That people wake up, have breakfast then go out of their way to do destruction. Such was the case last week in South Seattle's Brighton neighborhood where swastikas were painted on two synagogues and on neighboring sidewalks.
