An apparently silent alarm on an auto-theft bait car parked on West Comstock Street went off at 2:45 a.m. Feb. 19. Whoever was responsible was gone by the time police arrived, but so were unlisted "items" that had been in the vehicle. "The investigation will continue," according to the police report.
