'The Book of Mormon' brings its irreverent pedigree to Seattle for quick run

Winner of nine Tony awards, adored by many, offensive to some, “The Book of Mormon” (the musical) is currently showing at The Paramount for an all-too-brief two weeks. Performances are already sold out, with the exception of a limited ticket lottery that takes place 2 1/2 hours prior to each show.

After an eight-year process, Lower Kinnear Park Off-Leash Area, at 899 W. Olympic Place, is now open. It is the 13th off-leash area in Seattle. The Lower Kinnear Park Off-Leash Area is 5,400 square feet, similar in size to nearby small off-leash areas such as Regrade Park and Denny Park.
