Bodacious Vaudeville event to benefit breast-cancer survivors

Beauty N Kurves (513 First Ave. W.), a women’s lingerie boutique specializing in shapewear and plus sizes, is holding its Bodacious Vaudeville event for men and women age 21 and older on April 20. Proceeds from the event will benefit Cierra Sisters, an organization that supports women recovering from and living with breast cancer.

SCT's Hartzell receives Medallion Award

Seattle Children’s Theatre’s (SCT) artistic director Linda Hartzell has been named a recipient of the 2013 Orlin Corey Medallion Award, presented by Children’s Theatre Foundation of America (CTFA). Hartzell will receive the award alongside two other honorees at the One Theatre World Festival in Cleveland in May 2013.
