Gossip guyIt's the 21st-century version of passing notes: An 11-year-old boy (let's call him "Mr. X") is suspected of gaining access to a local girl's e-email account and sending messages (under her name) to their mutual friends, asking, "What do you think of Mr. X?" And to be sure that he could gauge his place on the social ladder, he had their replies forwarded to his own e-mail address. Although the girl has repeatedly changed e-mail accounts, this is the third time the suspect has hacked in.

Activists ask civic leaders to reconsider need for jail

City Councilor Tim Burgess has asked to restart dialogue with King County regarding available jail space for its misdemeanants, a move that has delighted The Committee for Efficiency and Fairness in Public Safety (CEFPS), a grassroots group opposed to building a jail in Seattle.

Watching this two-hour documentary is life-altering because it stretches for good your awareness of sinister happenings beneath the surface of our waters. Let's just say that in 20 years there will be nothing to look at on your whale-watching tour.
