I feel safer than I do on the [Alaskan Way] Viaduct. I'm more concerned about the viaduct because it looks more like the freeway in San Francisco that collapsed during the earthquake and pancaked all those people. I'm concerned about [Aurora's] bridge fatigue.

I'm concerned about the new concrete barriers that increase the weight of the bridge. Minneapolis has salt thrown on [their bridges]; I don't know if they do that here.
