Next Thursday, Nov. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a hiring event for veterans and military spouses at Safeco Field (1250 1st Ave S). RecruitMilitary and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are hosting the event.
The event is in support of the Veteran Hiring Challenge. 300 veterans and military spouses are expected to attend the event. Employers at the event include: Amazon, Snohomish Fire District 1, Port of Seattle, Korum Motors, Fred Meyer, Seattle Goodwill, SAP America, Prudential, BNSF Railway, Home Depot, Military Sealift Command, and Walgreens.
