Cleaning out? Got stuff? Need a Rummage Sale? One is coming to Uptown in February!Two Uptown neighborhood groups announce a big, three day Rummage Sale in Uptown on the last weekend of February. That’s Friday, Feb. 25; Saturday, Feb. 26; and Sunday, Feb. 27.
The Uptown Alliance and Friends of Lower Kinnear Park (FOLKPark) invite you to donate lightly used items. All profits will fund Uptown neighborhood projects. The Uptown Alliance has a history of fun, successful rummage sales and is pleased to join with FOLKPark. FOLKPark is leading the project to renovate and restore Uptown’s park at the west end of West Roy Street.
Please Do NOT bring Books or large electronic items.
Do Bring: kitchen items, small kitchen appliances, craft supplies, yarn, decorations, puzzles, games, tools, lamps, toys, furniture, accessories, linens, clothing, shoes, towels, and plant pots. Just take a walk around your home/basement/attic/office/storage unit and find donations.
Bring donations to 512 First Ave North (near the intersection of First Ave N and Republican Street.) Donations will be received on Sunday, Jan. 23 and Sunday, Jan. 30 between 2-5 p.m. For further information leave a message at 206-283-6140.
