SPU seeks comments on new disposal station

Seattle Public Utilities is taking comments on its recently released Environmental Checklist and Threshold Determination of Non-Significance documents for the proposal to rebuild the North Recycling and Disposal Station at 1350 N. 34th St.The two documents are available on-line at www.seattle.gov/util/About_SPU/Garbage_System/Plans/SolidWasteFacilityUpdate/index.htm.They also are available at the Fremont Library, 731 N. 35th St., and the Wallingford Library, 1501 N. 45th St.Comments must be sent by Thursday, May 1, to Joy Keniston-Longrie, Major Interagency Projects Manager, Seattle Public Utilities, P.O.
