Through September 20, St. Mark's Cathedral is hosting the Keiskamma Altarpiece, which was created by 120 South African women as a message of hope for people who have been affected by AIDS.
The 13' by 22' altarpiece was constructed in six month's time and is extremely colorful, featuring intricate embroidery, appliqué, beadwork and photography.
St. Mark's will be the fifth U.S. stop on the North American tour. Before the altarpiece landed in Seattle, it was featured in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
