Freehold Theatre's Engaged Theatre Program is presenting to the public William Shakespeare's "Cymbeline" with live music by Gino Yevdjevich of Kultur Shock on July 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Volunteer Park as well as July 12 - 14 at 8 p.m. at Freehold Theatre's East Hall Theatre.
The program will also bring the performance and theatre workshops to culturally underserved communities including Harborview Medical Center, New Futures at Arbor Heights, Washington Correctional Center for Women, two units at the Monroe Correctional Center, Echo Glen Children's Center as apart of their commitment to engaging artists of all levels in training and experimentation to become more innovative in generating theatre.
"Cymbeline" is a story of transformation and journey that we all take to come to our true authentic selves.
The program is directed by Robin Lynn Smith. Volunteer Park is located at 1247 15th Ave E. The Freehold Theatre is located at 1529 10th Ave. Admission is by donation. The suggested donation is $12.
