This summer GreenStage will put on two Shakespeare productions in Discovery Park.
“Henry VIII” will be performed on July 29 at 3 p.m. and “The Taming of the Shrew” on August 5 at 3 p.m.
Performances are free but, as the troupe’s publicity materials point out, “donations are joyfully accepted.”
The stage is about 200 yards south of the Visitor’s Center. Enter the Park on Government Way and follow the signs to the Visitor’s Center, where handicap parking is also available.
After each performance audience members are invited to chat with the cast and learn how it all comes together.
