The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) announced northbound SR 99 at Mercer Street and Mercer between Fifth Avenue North and Dexter Avenue North will be closed Sept. 6 - 7. The streets will be closed for Mercer Cooridor construction.
The closures will start Friday night and go though Saturday afternoon. Northbound SR 99 and Mercer Street will close starting at 11 p.m. on Friday. The roads will remain closed until 2 p.m. on Saturday.
SR 99 Southbound, Broad Street and the I-5 on-and-off ramps will be open throughout the weekend.
Pedestrians will not be allowed on Mercer between Fifth Avenue North and Dexter Avenue North during the specified closure times.
