Seattle Parks Legacy Plan Citizens Committee to hold public hearing

The Parks Legacy Citizens Advisory Committee (PLPCAC) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. at Miller Community Center (330 19th Ave. E).

PLPCAC was appointed by Seattle Parks and Recreation to consider funding options for the future. 37 investment initiatives have been proposed for a future park funding ballot measure.

The committee will gatehr feedback from the community on the initiatives at the hearing. The committee will then take that feedback to prioritize the list before completing its initial recommendations in December. The committee will host open houses around the city in January for more public comments before making its final prioritization. The final recommendations will go to the Mayor and City Council in March 2014. [[In-content Ad]]
