Seattle Center has appointed Lance Miller to the position of campus manager, overseeing event sales and servicing and the grounds and facilities at Seattle Center.
Miller will work within the Marketing and Business Development Division at Seattle Center and will represent the city department in interdepartmental work groups including the city’s Special Events Committee.
He also will support the center’s sponsorship business, oversee the campus catering program for event clients and manage contract negotiations and pricing, revenue collection and other elements involved in booking events and executing hundreds of space rental and sponsorship agreements annually.
Miller most recently served as general manager of Craneway Pavilion in Richmond, Calif., and previously as managing director of One Reel, producers of Bumbershoot, the urban arts festival held each Labor Day weekend at Seattle Center.
