Last October’s first “Run the Bluff” drew more than 700 adults and kids to the starting line to run or walk the 12k/5k course.
The event benefits Magnolia Community Center and local PTA’s.
This year’s version will take place Sunday, Oct. 7, with the first starting time set for 12k runners and walkers at 8:30 a.m., followed by 5k runners and walkers and a free kid’s dash.
Sunny skies are predicted.
There will be a post-race celebration, live music, awards and prizes, an exhibition area and beer garden. The event starts and finishes next to the Magnolia Playground in Magnolia Village on Smith Avenue — 2518 34th Avenue W.
