April was a better month for home sellers in Magnolia and Queen Anne with the Average home price ($582,724) and Median home price ($525,000) going up from March, according to Multiple Listing Service data compiled by real estate broker John Madrid.
However, the number of days that homes are staying on the market before they are sold was up moderately from March to 83. That is 16 days more than in April of last year. A total of 41 deals on homes closed in April. That was approximately the same as April of 2010.

Madrid said that last month's results were more impressive, given last year’s numbers were inflated by the expiration of the home-buyer tax credits
