The Rainier Vista Boys & Girls Club will be temporarily relocating on May 11 to make way for the demolition and reconstruction of a new club building.
The Rainier Valley Community Center will serve as the temporary home for the club which has been a staple in the community since 1976.
The club will continue to offer after-school van pick-up services and starting May 14, parents will be able to pick up their children at the Community Center. Parents using the school transportation system must contact the school's transportation center to request the change of drop-off location.
The new club will begin construction this spring and looks to open in the fall of 2008. The new center will include both new club facilities and an EX3 Teen Center. The Rainier Valley Community Center is located at 4600 38th Ave. S.[[In-content Ad]]
