The Queen Anne Community Council will have its annual executive board election on Sept. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Queen Anne Manor (100 Crockett St). All Queen Anne residents and business owners are encouraged to run for the board, attend the meeting and vote.
The community council board represents Queen Anne to the city, county, port commission and other political entities.
The Queen Anne Community Council is made up of subcommittees focusing on community parks, local transportation, neighborhood land use, public safety, planning and social needs. It’s a sounding board for community concerns and priorities.
The board represents all citizens for Queen Anne, including renters, retirees, students, homeowners.
