Clarification of Magnolia Chamber of Commerce Sidewalk Project 2007-094:
1. Severe upwelling caused by tree roots
2. Raised sidewalks, some as great as 6 inches
3. Raised water meter covers, 1 to 1 1/2 inches
4. Cracked, broken and uneven sidewalks
5. No curbs on north side of McGraw Street between 32nd and 34th avenues
We the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce applied for Neighborhood Grant. To our surprise and disappointment we were not notified that our sidewalk project was accepted, or of the Sept. 18 public meeting on Queen Anne. The Magnolia Neighboorhood was not given a fair chance to have a voice on this very important project. Doesn't the Magnolia taxpayer deserve better? Project 2007-094 is a public-safety issue for the residents of Magnolia. Please contact SDOT and our mayor to let them know how you feel. Your voice counts.
