Providence smiles on Taylor

Eva Taylor, a resident of Magnolia and a member of the Class of 2008 at Providence College in Rhode Island, has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2007 semester.

To qualify for the list, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade-point average with a minimum of 12 credits.

Providence College is the only college or university in the United States administered by the Dominican Friars. The Catholic, liberal arts college has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 3,800 and offers degrees in 48 academic majors. For the past 11 years, it has been ranked as one of the top two regional universities in the north in U.S. News' America's Best Colleges - placing number two in the year 2007 edition of the popular college guide.
