The Ballard NW Senior Center will have its 20th-anniversary dinner auction on March 24, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Leif Erickson Hall, 2245 N.W. 57th St.
The $pring for $eniors event includes a live auction and three silent auctions, with items donated by local businesses. The live auction includes such items for bid as hot-air balloon flights, bed-and-breakfast stays, Holland America cruises and trips to Emerald Downs.
The event culminates with a competitive “Dessert Dash,” with choices of cakes, homemade pies and cheesecakes.
All proceeds support the Ballard NW Senior Center’s programs and services.
