Peter Kirk's carnival will be June 1, from 5-8 p.m. Carnival is a fun event aimed at elementary-aged children and their families, although younger kids enjoy it, too.
Just a few of the activities include games with prizes, pony rides, inflatables, crazy hair, face painting and a flower shop.
Kids get a chance to meet firefighters and a police officer and check out the fire truck and police cruiser. You can buy dinner plus there are lots of tasty carnival treats.
Tickets can be purchased during carnival, and $20-$30 is usually enough for a family to have dinner and a fun evening.
