More than 60 pieces of art done by last year’s fifth-grade classes of Lily Ulmer and Peter Hubbard at Lawton Elementary School (4000 27th Ave. W.), were recently hung on a the north fence along a walking path at Magnolia Manor Park.
They created bees, birds and butterflies and other park-themed work under the direction of mural artist Don Rockwell and classroom volunteers LuAnn Mitchell and Monica Wooton.
The fifth-graders raised money to get the artwork hung at the park.
