Pamela Joan Beckett

Pamela Joan Beckett, a resident of Queen Anne and former resident of The Pike Place Market, LaConner and Friday Harbor passed away in her home on Thursday, December 16, 2010.

Pam was born in Bellingham, WA, on July 22, 1948, the daughter of Olga and Richard Beckett.

As a young woman, Pam had a love for art and cooking which continued throughout her life. She was a respected, highly-esteemed chef with many awards to her credit  She had an exceptional knowledge of food in all areas requiring a high degree of creativity.

To family and friends, Pam’s sprit could be summed up in two words: creative and high-spirited. The quintessential friend, she endeared herself to the entire community.

Pam spent her final years doing what she loved best – creating passionate food and spending time with her friends and family. She had an incredible zest for life and will be missed.

Pam is survived by her daughter: Sarah (Ostler) Morris, Son-in-law: Mark Morris, Granddaughters: Bailey and Brooklyn Morris, Brother: Robert Beckett, Sister-in-Law: Marilyn Sargent, Nephews: Charlie and Andrew Beckett.
