On May 5 and 6, Queen Anne residents Megan Manning, Arthur Stacey, Cat Snider and Zoe Hamilton (of St. Anne School, Class of '05) participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, a 24-hour fundraising event at Seattle Pacific University co-sponsored by the Queen Anne & Magnolia News. These students are all members of Seattle Prep's sophomore class; the Prep team, 27 strong, walked the SPU track in shifts for the entire 24-hour period and raised $7,000. The event overall raised more than $33,000.
