All photographs for the 2007 Discovery Park Advisory Council-sponsored Calendar Photo Contest must be entered on or by Sunday, May 27. Winning photographs, which need to have been shot at Discovery Park or Kiwanis Ravine, will be published in a 2008 calendar. All contest entries will be exhibited at a calendar contest celebration in August. The calendar will include a biographical statement by each photographer selected.
Contest entries may also be published on the Discovery Park Web site and in Seattle Parks and Rec-reation publications.
Artists may submit up to three photos covered by a single nonrefundable $15 entry fee and completed en-try form. Checks may be made out to the Discovery Park Advisory Council. Review will be by slide or digital image. Digital images should be ap- proximately 8.5 inches by 11 inch- es at 300 dpi in TIF or JPG format.
Entries may be mailed or dropped off at the Discovery Park Environmental Learning Center, Attn: Photo Contest, 3801 W. Government Way, Seattle, WA 98199.

Judging the contest will be a panel of three professional photographers and teachers in the area.
Proceeds from the 2008 calendar will be used for the park programming.
