Northgate Mall, which first opened in 1950, celebrated its new look last weekend with giveaways and Christmas in the Northwest concerts. The two-year renovation project included two plazas, a 720-vehicle parking deck and several new restaurants. Most of the work was done to the mall's west side, which is visible from Interstate 5.
