On Monday, June 4, WS Contractors began installing five basalt pieces in Counterbalance Park. The installation, which has stirred some controversy, includes two sculptured basalt columns and three basalt sitting stones. The project is expected to take two weeks. Counterbalance Park is at the corner of Queen Anne Avenue North and Roy Street.
