A new medical facility has opened its doors in Lower Queen Anne aimed at bridging the gap between your doctor’s office and the emergency room.
The Doctors Express urgent care office, located above the Metropolitan Market, at 610 First Avenue North, is the first Doctors Express facility in the Pacific Northwest and the 25th member of the national franchise.
Owned and operated by Dr. Michael Sthay, the office is aimed at offering an urgent-care alternative to patients with serious, but not life-threatening illnesses or injuries. The express facility offers state-of-the-art digital X-ray equipment, a certified laboratory that allows for drug screening and other procedures on site.
