With live music from Loco Motion providing background and QFC providing refreshments, President Don Lagerquist proudly announced that the entire office was furnished with donations from the membership and the community. Beautifully framed historical prints were provided by the Queen Anne Historical Society, and exterior and interior plantings were donated by Queen Anne Gardens.
President Lagerquist also announced the election of two new Board members, Cindy Mitchell of Queen Anne Books and Bill Hoffer of Wardrobe Design.
Thanks to members' generosity, the Chamber was able to secure prominent storefront office space. Executive director Margaret Irvine expressed the hope that the greater visibility should help the organization to offer more services to the community.
GQACC members are encouraged to bring advertising materials for display.
The office is open to the public most weekdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
