Neighbours Nightclub has agreed to partner with the Seattle LGBT Community Center, not just for this year's QueerFest on Saturday, June 23, in Volunteer Park, but also for the coming year.
"That means that we have almost 90 percent of the festival paid for," said Shannon Thomas, executive director of the LGBT Center, which has organized QueerFest this year.
"The support of Mona, Mo and Tony at Neighbours has been amazing. Since we stepped up to expand QueerFest to be a Pride Festival in early May, we've been under the gun to raise the funds to support it.
"This partnership ensures years of success for our LGBT community to come together in celebration and activism. Neighbours' support of the center not only supports this once-a-year-event, but supports our LGBT Community Center throughout the year."[[In-content Ad]]
