Like many owners of dogs in Seattle, Steve Nesbitt got Boomer through a rescue outfit. Boomer, a 5-year-old Australian shepherd, was dismissed by a family who couldn't deal with his rambunctious attitude and demand for love. Nesbitt was more than willing to oblige. He says Boomer has lots of "dogonality" and that he loves attention.
Boomer is also a role model for Nesbitt, who wants to lead an honest life like his dog. "He thinks this world is his. He's a lover," he said.[[In-content Ad]]
