Grandma, on this day last year we were celebrating your 99th birthday; who would have known you would be gone in 16 days? You might have known her from the countless community meals she helped to prepare at Bethany Presbyterian Church, or have worshiped with her at Queen Anne Christian Church for 68 years. You might have been blessed with her presence at Ken's Market or Safeway as she walked the neighborhood. Did you do aerobics with her at the Queen Anne Rec Center when she was in her 80's, or chat with her while she did her laundry at the laundromat? Maybe you were lucky enough to have been given a jar of raspberry jam made from the berries grown in her back yard, or given a tray of her annual Christmas cookies. Many of you enjoyed her roses and a chat as you strolled down 6th West, if you had any of these experiences you were lucky to have known such a lovely lady. The great-grand kids, Idries, Aaliyah and Molli Marian say Saturday's just aren't the same without pancake breakfast at GG's .You are, and will always be; loved and missed. "See you later alligator!"[[In-content Ad]]
