Police are still searching for the man who robbed the Magnolia branch of Key Bank on May 28th.
Seattle police officers responded to the branch at 2401 34th Avenue W. at 12:22 p.m. on Saturday, May 28th. According to police reports, Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect entered the bank, passed a note to the teller demanding money and implied that he was armed. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of cash and remains at large.
Responding officers conducted an area search for the suspect but were unable to locate him. Nobody was injured during the course of the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male, 40 to 45 years of age, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, heavyset with long dreadlocks, wearing a black doo-rag, a gray Corona beer sweatshirt, blue jeans and dirty white shoes.
Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police immediately and refer to this incident. Crime Stoppers is offering $1,000 for tips leading to the arrest and charging of a suspect in the robbery.
