The Magnolia Farmers Market opens Saturday, June 9, at 10 a.m., with more than 20 farmers and local food artisans offering a varying selection of fresh-picked spring greens and early spring vegetables, cut flowers, hard ciders, baked goods, gourmet ice cream, sweet and savory crepes, chocolates and more.
The market, at 33rd Avenue West and West Wheeler Street, has been able to expand this year, with prepared foods on the roster in addition to the great selection of local farm products.
Magnolia Farmers Market is one of a handful of farmers markets in the state of Washington that is currently allowing wine tasting, and the market will offer samples and sales from local vintners and cideries each week.
New farmers and vendors include Schreiber and Sons (seasonal vegetables), Pinch Baking Co, The Mushroom Farm, Manini’s Gluten-free Fresh Pasta and Breads, the Juice Peddler (market-fresh juices made to order, powered by customers’ peddling!), Anita’s Crepes and Grain Expectations (baked goods).
The Magnolia Farmers Market will be open every Saturday, June 9 through Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
