Magnolia Community Club, Magnolia Chamber to host meeting on Waterfront Seattle Project

The Waterfront Seattle Project is due to bring big changes to the city’s waterfront. The Magnolia Community Club and the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a community meeting on the project June 14, from 7 to 9 p.m., which features Steve Pearce, the Waterfront Seattle project manager with the Seattle Department of Transportation. 

The meeting will take place at Catharine Blaine School, 2550 34th Ave. W., in the cafeteria.

Discussion topics include transformation of the central waterfront, coordination with Elliott Bay Seawall Project, concepts for new public spaces, design of Alaskan Way surface street and project schedule and impacts.
