Several local high-schoolers will perform in Pacific Northwest Ballet School’s presentation of “Hansel & Gretel,” a narrated, hour-long version of the classic tale aimed at younger audiences.
The cast includes Madison Abeo, as Yellow Bird; Ashley Baker, as Moonbeam; Christopher Brown, as Star Catcher; Eleanor Clayton, as Yellow Bird; Maya Darling, as Moonbeam; Brianna Moriarty, as Yellow Bird; Emilee Strong, as Yellow Bird.
Emma Sluss, an eighth-grader, will play the lead of Gretel.
The production includes more than 90 roles danced by professional dancers and students in two casts. It will run Sunday, March 17, through March 23 at Seattle Center’s McCaw Hall for three performances. For ticket information, visit www.pnb.org.
