[Regarding “Queen Anne Residents Oppose CVS Development,” Aug. 14:] Between this and the Chase Bank, Lower Queen Anne — or as the developers would prefer you call it, “Uptown” — is really missing out on an opportunity to keep itself from becoming a lower-rent, faux-suburban Belltown.
I [would] hate to see every neighborhood in this city — especially my own — become another sandbox for a bunch of guys with bad, uninteresting, unhelpful ideas.
