Permit applications
2100 W. COMMODORE WAY (3012950) for a Shoreline Substantial Development Application to allow two marine sales and service buildings, each with a caretaker's unit, quarters and a mini-warehouse building, in an environmentally critical area. Project includes replacement of three floats with two floating docks, dredging, installation of shot rock waterward of ordinary high water, habitat enhancement and demolition of existing warehouse. Parking for 126 vehicles will be located on site. The following approvals are required: SEPA environmental determination (This project is subject to the Optional DNS Process (WAC 197-11-355) and Early DNS Process (SMC 25.05.355). This comment period may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of this proposal.); Shoreline Substantial Development to allow development in the UM shoreline environment; Shoreline Conditional Use to allow a non-water dependent use in the UM shoreline environment; Shoreline Special Use to allow dredging, bulkhead and landfill on submerged lands in a UM environment. Building, demolition and dredging permits may be needed but were not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Sept. 27.
1916 10TH AVE. W. (3015940) for a Land Use Application to subdivide one parcel into three unit lots. The construction of residential units is being reviewed under Project No. 6365803. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. The following approval is required: Short Subdivision to create three unit lots. Water Availability Certificate may be needed but was not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Wednesday, Sept. 11.
