DESIGN REVIEWS

At the early design guidance meeting, the applicants will present information about the site and vicinity; the public may offer comments regarding the design and siting of the structure on the subject site.
The meeting will take place Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Ballard High School, 1418 N.W. 65th St., in the library.
PERMIT APPLICATIONS
❚ 10503 Interlake Ave. N. (3008119) for a Land Use Application to install three modular trailers and two tents for temporary use as fire station (Station 31). Existing single-family residence to be demolished. Existing play area to remain.
The following approval is required: SEPA environmental determination. Building and demolition permits may be needed but were not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Thursday, Nov. 15.
PERMIT DECISIONS

(3007193) on a Land Use Application to allow three two-unit townhouse structures and one single-family residence with an attached accessory dwelling unit (totaling seven units and one ADU). Eight parking spaces will be provided. Existing multifamily structures to be demolished.
The following appealable decision has been made based on submitted plans: Determination of Non-Significance with conditions (no Environmental Impact Statement required). Environmental review completed, and project conditioned as applicable. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than Nov. 19.
PERMIT DECISIONS
❚ 6810 50th Ave. N.E. (3007522) on a Land Use Application to allow a detached garage accessory to a single-family residence. Construction of the residence has been approved under Project No. 6112008.
The following appealable decision has been made based on submitted plans: Variance to allow a structure to exceed maximum lot coverage in a single-family zone denied. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than Nov. 19.
AMENDMENTS
The Department of Planning and Development (DPD) is proposing to amend the Land Use Code to revise regulations that apply to the Sand Point Overlay District (Chapter 23.72), for the continued redevelopment of the former naval base at Sand Point, now called Warren G. Magnuson Park.
Amendments include modifications to Sand Point Overlay District development and use standards to allow adaptive reuse of buildings and the construction of a tennis center, changes to regulation of signs in the overlay and changes to the Sand Point Overlay District map.
DPD has determined that the amendment described above will not have a significant adverse environmental impact and has issued a Determination of Non-Significance (no Environmental Impact Statement required).
Appeals of the decision to issue a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) must be submitted to the Office of the Hearing Examiner by 5 p.m. Nov. 22, addressed to the hearing examiner and must be accompanied by a $50 filing fee in a check payable to the City of Seattle. The appeal must be sent to City of Seattle Hearing Examiner, P.O. Box 94729, Seattle WA 98124-4729.
Copies of the DNS and the proposed amendments may be obtained at the DPD Public Resource Center, 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 2000 in the Seattle Municipal Tower.
