PERMIT APPLICATIONS

1302 N. 88th St. (3007921) for a Land Use Application to allow four two-unit townhouse structures. Parking for eight vehicles to be provided within the structures. Existing structures to be removed.

The following approval is required: SEPA environmental determination. Building permit be needed but was not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Wednesday, Oct. 24.

559 N.E. 80th St. (3008110) for a Land Use Application to change the use of a building from food processing (commercial kitchen used for catering) to restaurant.

The following approval is required: Administrative Conditional Use to allow conversion of a non-conforming use to another non-conforming use. Building permit be needed but was not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Wednesday, Oct. 24.


DESIGN REVIEWS

5240 University Way N.E. (3007919) of a seven-story, 85-unit building with 57 accessory parking spaces and commercial space on the ground floor.

At the early design guidance meetin g, the applicants will present information about the site and vicinity; the public may offer comments regarding the design and siting of a mixed-use development on the subject site.

The meeting will take place Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at University Heights Center, 5031 University Way N.E., in Room 209.

2313 N. 45th St. (3004787) of a four-story building consisting of administrative office, customer-service office, two apartment units and one level of accessory parking for 22 vehicles within the structure. The existing retail, restaurant and apartment building will remain and be renovated.

At the Design Review Board meeting the applicant will present information about the proposed design and how it responds to the Design Guideline priorities established at the Early Design Guidance Board meeting on Sept. 11, 2006, regarding this site; the public may offer comments regarding the proposed design.

The meeting will take place Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. at University Heights Center, 5031 University Way N.E., in Room 209.
