PERMIT APPLICATIONS

304 E. Thomas St. (3005914) for a Land Use application to allow a six-story building containing 30 residential units. Parking for 32 vehicles to be provided below grade within the structure. Project includes grading. Existing structure to be demolished. The following approvals are required: Design Review; SEPA environmental determination. Building and grading permits may be needed but were not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Wednesday, Nov. 7.

739 Harvard Ave. E. (3008010) for a Land Use Application to subdivide one parcel into four unit lots. The construction of townhouses has been approved under Project No. 6110874. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. The following approval is required: Short Subdivision to create four unit lots. Water Availability Certificate may be needed but were not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Wednesday, Nov. 7.


DESIGN REVIEWS

1408 14th Ave. (3007131) of a seven-story building containing retail at ground level with 120 apartments above and parking for 93 vehicles below grade. Existing structure to be demolished. Project includes grading. At the Design Review Board meeting the applicant will present information about the proposed design and how it responds to the Design Guideline priorities established at an Early Design Guidance Board meeting regarding this site; the public may offer comments regarding the proposed design. The meeting will take place Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Yesler Community Center, 917 E. Yesler Way, in the multipurpose room.

523 Broadway E. (3004668) of a six-story, 290-unit apartment building with retail at ground floor. Parking for 400 vehicles will be provided at and below grade. Review includes demolition of existing multifamily structures and retail buildings. At the Design Review Board meeting the applicant will present information about the proposed design and how it responds to the Design Guideline priorities established at the Early Design Guidance Board meeting on June 21, 2006, and Sept. 19, 2007, regarding this site; the public may offer comments regarding the proposed design. The meeting will take place Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. at Yesler Community Center, 917 E. Yesler Way, in the multipurpose room.
