KeyBank volunteers left their bank offices on May 24 and put on jeans and T-shirts for a day of community projects in honor of Key’s 22nd-annual Neighbors Make the Difference Day. Nationwide, more than 8,400 employees participated across nearly 1,000 projects
In Washington, more than 430 employees volunteered at 42 projects sites last week. One of the sites was at the Northwest Center Kids at Queen Anne, 2919 First Ave. W., which has provided education, advocacy, therapy and family support to nurture the development of children with and without disabilities since 1965.
The KeyBank team supporting the Northwest Center Kids spent the day restoring and beautifying the center by painting rooms, improving landscaping features and repainting a unique mural used as a teaching tool for children at the center.
