The music department at Kamiakin Junior High has, for the third year in a row, set a record for the number of students accepted to participate in Washington's most prestigious honor group for middle-school students: Junior All-State.
early 20 audition tapes were sent to the state screening committee and an all-time school record of nine musicians will participate based on their expertise, technical facility and musicality.
The musicians listed below will join other state members as eighth-graders next October in Olympia as part of the Washington Music Educators Junior All-State Band, Orchestra or Choir.
