KALL fielded one Juniors team this year and played a combination of both national teams Sunday at Everest Park. The game was tied up twice into the fourth inning when Kirkland American pulled ahead by one run and scored two more runs in the fifth inning. They held the national team scoreless in the sixth inning to win the game.

MVP of the game was pitcher Genevieve Paul. The final out of the game was played by catcher Natalie Shively throwing out a sliding runner at second base. Look for the champion Swift team in the 4th of July parade!

Players from both teams will field the Kirkland All Stars Team which will compete in the District 9 Tournament. The winner of the District 9 Tournament will host the Junior World Series held at Everest Park in August.[[In-content Ad]]
